Business owners don’t want to know what they know allready by me asking them coaching questions, they want to know what they don’t know and what I know from having done it.
The term Business Coaching is confusing to business owners, they say “Is it like Life coaching?”
A better term is “Non Executive Director”
- Business owners understand this because they are probable already a company director.
- They know that successful companies employ “NonExecutive Directors”
- They know that to be a Non Executive Director, you must have already been a Managing Director, Financial Director, Marketing Director, Sales Director or an Operations Director, these being the core functions of any business, that the business owner requires expertise in.
In my experience business owners want to:
- Learn from other successful business owners who have done it before
- Don’t just want someone to tell them how to do it, but to role their sleeves up and get on with it, because they want to use this leverage and they haven't got the time for some of the important non urgent stuff.
- A return on investment of ten time the cost
How much does is a Non Executive Director?
Not as much as you may think, many have already made their money and are in semi retirement, seek out and ask, is my advice.
